Henry Nöel Aubry
Mineral Traces
From 11 to 25 October 2025
The Exhibition
According to the artist, painting and mosaic are intimately linked. Nature has always been the center of his inspiration, whether the plant, mineral, or organic world. His research focuses on traces, imprints, and memory.
This exhibition, curated by Roberto Pagnani and featuring a critical essay by Sandro Malossini in the catalog, is part of the 9th Biennial of Contemporary Mosaic. The exhibition features around thirty works, primarily murals, in both square and rectangular formats, with abstract compositions, and using natural materials such as granite, marble, and slate.
The Artist
Henry Nöel Aubry graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris. His practice focuses on painting and mosaic, and this synergy informs his entire oeuvre. He works for public and private clients, on restoration projects, and teaches painting and mosaic.
