Dave (Davide Magelli)

I COLORI DELLA SOLITUDINE

from 19 to 29 August 2021

The Exhibition

The photographic work that Dave proposes to us, and presents at Pallavicini 22, is the artistic fruit of these last months linked to the recent pandemic that hit the world, bringing it to a crossroads between what was previously normal and obvious and which now faces a new very difficult time, still to be understood in its most radical transformations.

Nature is Dave's refuge; in it man has left part of his inventions, and where his eye photographs the horizon of the river at the edge of the woods making, his narration of images, a kind of dramatic fairy tale of a neighboring age still to be written.

(Roberto Pagnani)

The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Ghigi Pagnani Collection Archive, responds to the desire of Pallavicini 22 Art Gallery to support art in times of pandemic.

The project "We support young talents" , which originated from the collaboration between Claudia Agrioli owner of Pallavicini 22 Art Gallery and Roberto Pagnani curator of the Ghigi-Pagnani Archive Collection,  consists in supporting young and deserving artists by hosting their own self-managed personal exhibition for free.
